MUTELY

Terms of Use

Effective date: 19 July 2026

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Mutely iOS application ("Mutely", the "app"), developed by Antoni Rozwoda ("we", "us"). By downloading or using Mutely you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

What Mutely does

Mutely helps you limit your own use of distracting apps using Apple's Screen Time frameworks. Blocking works by design friction — for example, holding for 120 seconds to temporarily unlock a blocked app. Mutely is a self-control aid, not a parental-control or security product, and it does not guarantee that a blocked app can never be opened (for example, removing Screen Time permission or deleting Mutely lifts all blocks).

License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Mutely on Apple devices you own or control, in line with the App Store Terms of Service and Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (Apple EULA), which applies where these Terms are silent.

Subscriptions

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the app — including attempting to circumvent its technical protections for any unlawful purpose, reverse-engineering it except where the law expressly permits, or using it in a way that violates the App Store Terms of Service.

Disclaimer

Mutely is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free, that blocks can never be bypassed, or that any usage estimates shown in the app are exact. Mutely is not a medical product and makes no health claims.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of (or inability to use) the app. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid for it in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including your statutory rights as a consumer.

Changes to the app or these Terms

We may update the app and these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new effective date; continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Poland, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections of the country where you live.
